Save a video as MP3 (audio only)

For lectures, podcasts and music you often need only the sound. Video Download saves it straight as MP3, or turns an MP4 you already have into MP3 with one click.

Steps

1. Copy the video link and click Paste in Video Download.
2. In the format list choose Audio only – MP3. Audio only – M4A is there too.
3. Click Download. The audio file appears in the download folder.

Good to know

• Already downloaded the MP4? Click MP3 on its row: Convert to MP3 (the MP4 stays).
• MP3 is saved at 192 kbps.
• The browser extension has its own MP3 button, and the right-click menu offers MP3 too.
